First Day of the Season

Well, today officially marked the start of Colorado's ski and snowboard season with the opening of Arapahoe Basin and the Loveland Ski Area. I made my way over to see what all the noise was going to be about and to claim some bragging rights as I managed to fit in a couple of turns on the first day myself. People were certainly excited about being there and taking their first runs but all in all it was mostly tame. I'm thinking of continuing the fun the entire season at the "Basin" to see what I can shake up. These photos have not found a home yet so I hoping to make some more contacts to see if they are worthy of selling to a publication. For now, enjoy. See you this season.
